LOGICAD

The LOGICAD project will offer solutions and new tools to reduce the imbalance between supply and demand for new jobs in the logistics sector, providing innovative answers, specific training and practical systems to reduce this imbalance. Economic globalization through relocation, expansion of large multinational corporations or large areas of economic integration raises the need for new logistics jobs that can meet the requirements of this new situation of economic globalization. The project will ensure a higher level of competence for at-risk groups, such as unskilled personnel, and guarantee equal opportunities, both horizontal priorities in the national proposals.

In this field, a tool such as computer-aided design is one of the most widely used technologies that brings together the most diverse instruments to support product design and development. CAD systems allow the generation of 3D geometry to visualize the object to be designed and simulate its behavior under different conditions allowing complex designs and simulating real operating conditions before the construction and testing of prototypes. A key business for LOGICAD partners is logistics, and it is in this sector where they will innovate in the design and management activities of material flows from their origin to their final destination, in order to provide customers with products in quantity, quality, and on time. LOGICAD aims to develop new technologies in design, 2D and 3D CAD, continuous on-the-job training, as well as the transfer of know-how and the capitalization of the euCAD Project for European SMEs in Industrial Computer Aided Design.
