The project

The The purpose of this project is to define a portfolio of projects of experimental development and innovation aimed at manufacturers of construction machinery belonging to the AEI ANMOPYC and from manufacturers of lifting equipment belonging to the AEI AECAE a through the implementation of Big Data technologies in the different activities carried out by these companies.

Technical information on the project and its objectives:

The general objective of the project is to bring Big Data technologies to the companies of the 2 AEIs mentioned above, providing proposals and technologies that facilitate the adoption of Big Data in future projects.

More detailed objectives will include:

• Ranking and assessment of the various technologies in terms of their applicability in construction machinery and lifting equipment.
• Description of use cases and examples of application of these technologies.
• Generation of projects for the implementation of solutions with Big Data technologies in different applications.
• Define a specific project portfolio for the application of Big Data technologies to the marketing and sales areas.
• Development of a sectorial demonstrator for the application of Big Data technologies to a real case.

This The project is divided into 5 work packages and has a duration of 9 months. The tasks related to Project Management are performed by throughout the life of the project, from July 2017 to March 2018. The work packages are listed below and the leaders of each are indicated:
