The objective of the present project is to design and develop a new robotization kit that is able to transform a conventional dumper into a self-propelled and autonomous mobile robot,
that is able to reach the excavation face without human intervention
, then wait to be loaded, and finally transport the
debris generated at the excavation face to the outside of the
tunnel.
Participating entities
This requires the joint work of all the companies that make up the Consortium:
VIAS y CONSTRUCCIONES (as project leader).
Company with extensive national and international experience in the
execution of tunnels actively participating in all stages
necessary for the definition of technical specifications, analysis of
the needs of the various systems and components, as well as the
development of field validation tests, which will be performed in
a tunnel in a state of execution.
Aragon Institute of Technology (ITAINNOVA).
Technological Center with extensive experience in the development of systems
mechanical, electrical, electronic and automation, as well as extensive
knowledge in mobile robotics. He will be in charge of the design, the
implementation and the manufacturing of the elements of the kit. In addition,
ITAINNOVA will collaborate with the rest of the partners in the development of the
algorithms and the application of the appropriate techniques to achieve the
autonomous driving of the vehicle.
ANMOPYC. Como asociación sectorial, aportará su
condición de experto en seguridad de máquinas para asumir con garantías
los retos relacionados con la seguridad del proyecto de forma que la
solución final de todas las garantías necesarias para poder usar los
vehículos correctamente. Además gracias a su conocimiento en cuanto a
los mercados internacionales de maquinaria de construcción garantiza que
el proyecto tenga un claro enfoque internacional
UNIVERSITY OF ZARAGOZA. Through a group
specialized in robotics, it will be in charge of the design of the
communications system, as well as of the tasks related to the
self-localization in tunnels. In this way, it brings to the project its
extensive experience in robotic research and experimentation in
confined environments.
