PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES

The objective of the project is to provide support so that the General Directorate of Taxes can establish the alleged cases of fraud, develop a proof of concept or prototype to introduce Artificial Intelligence technologies in the system (Deep Learning), and develop new fraud cases that are of interest to the General Directorate of Taxes.
This main objective is broken down into the following specific objectives:

  1. To validate the feasibility of an intelligent model of automatic text analysis in deeds, and thus, to be able to extract relevant and valuable information for the General Directorate of Taxes.
  2. Semantically analyze the documents provided, locating text patterns and extracting taxable facts from the documents based on the rules to be defined to solve the new fraud assumptions that may arise.
  3. Generate a proof of concept, which allows through Deep Learning techniques an automatic classifier and risk detector based on the rules currently obtained during the first year of the project.
  4. Continue working on a single, standard information repository to store the documents provided under this project and deploy it in the AST information infrastructure to manage and process the set of tax documents selected for this project.
  5. To provide support to the General Directorate of Taxes, so that it can secure the alleged cases of fraud implemented.

This action is financed from the budget application 12050G/6311/227009/91002 (Other works carried out by other companies) of the Budget of expenses of the Autonomous Community of Aragon for the fiscal year 2022 under the responsibility of the Department of Finance and Public Administration of the Government of Aragon.
