AMBIANCE aims to develop new products for urban and outdoor applications from bio-based raw materials. This will be done through innovative characterization, digital technologies and a circular approach.
By using sustainable manufacturing models and optimizing manufacturing processes, AMBIANCE’s ultimate goal is to reduce environmental impact and make sustainable and recyclable products the norm in European cities.
The project will initially focus on the development of bio-based materials with improved properties, similar to their petroleum-based alternatives, by deploying various material optimization techniques followed by characterization tests.
