Date of execution: May 2023-April 2024
Artificial intelligence can help improve the planning of productive operations by providing a better understanding of data and information. AI is capable of analyzing large amounts of data and detecting patterns and trends in it. This allows companies to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and improve production efficiency.
In addition, it can be used to develop predictive models (supervised machine learning techniques) that can predict when defects will occur in manufactured products or when a productive resource will fail, drastically reducing non-quality costs.
This allows companies to anticipate and always be one step ahead of undesired phenomena in the production process and plan accordingly.
Artificial intelligence can also be used to characterize production (unsupervised machine learning techniques), i.e., to analyze and understand production patterns.
Production characterization involves the identification of patterns and trends in production data, such as production efficiency, product quality and resource utilization.
This project focuses on the application of machine learning techniques for production characterization using data available in the consortium companies, for each of which a use case is proposed based on its own characteristics: type of manufacturing, available information, type of demand, available production resources, etc.
The general objective of the project is to develop innovative actions based on Artificial Intelligence technologies to improve decision making in the operations planning processes in industrial companies.
The implementation of this project aims to achieve the following specific objectives:
ARAGON CLUSTER OF AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK MEANS OF PRODUCTION
ARAGONESE AERONAUTICAL ASSOCIATION
BMC AGRÍCOLA, S.L.
ALOT METAL, S.L
MECANIZADOS EJEA DE LOS CABALLEROS SL
RIGUAL, S.A.
