The project has been carried out between the AEI LOGISTIC CLUSTER OF ARAGON (ALIA), the companies EQUIMODAL and TRANSPORTES SESÉ and the Technological Institute of Aragon (ITAINNOVA), has as general objective the realization of an analysis of the feasibility of the adoption and deployment of the technologies Industry 4.0 to improve internal logistics processes and to carry out two demonstrators of these technologies in two companies.
Technical information on the project and its objectives:
The objective of this project is the realization of an analysis of the feasibility of the adoption and deployment of I4.0 technologies in the environment to improve logistics processes for warehouses, distribution centers or supply to production processes. The objective is to deepen in the enabling technologies and select two of them to make demonstrators that can validate both from the economic and operational point of view the benefits they bring from the point of view of an SME and from the point of view of a large company.
This project is divided into 5 work packages with a duration of 6 months. The tasks linked to Project Management are executed throughout the life of the project, from October 2016 to March 2017. The work packages are listed below and the leaders of each are indicated:

Participating entities:
This project has received a grant under the program to support Innovative Business Groups (AEIs). This program to support the strengthening of innovation clusters is inserted in the European strategy to improve competitiveness for the innovation.
The clusters that can benefit from the program’s grants are those entities whose innovative potential and critical mass have been recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (MINECO) through their registration in the Register of Innovative Business Clusters.
