Problem

Specific objectives of the project are:

  • To improve the competitiveness of construction machinery manufacturers by accelerating their immersion and adaptation to the precepts of Industry 4.0.
  • To promote the use and implementation of Internet of Things solutions among construction machinery manufacturers.
  • Develop three technology demonstrators based on the Internet of Things for three industrial SMEs manufacturers of construction machinery.
  • To draw up a roadmap of innovation projects for construction machinery manufacturers focused on technologies or layers of the Internet of Things.

Results

The developed systems are integrated and validated in an operational environment and under real working conditions in three companies, although it will have a partial scope since only one type of machine and a limited set of operating parameters will be considered with the intention of validating the performance and reliability of the system and, if necessary, to be able to scale the development to more types of machines.
