ITA’s electrical laboratory provides advice and tests on compliance with the directives and standards that products must meet in order to be sold or put into operation in the European Union. They apply to Electrical Products, Machines, Elevators, Radio Equipment, Electro-medical Equipment, Automotive Components, etc.
To be placed on the market or put into service in the European Union, equipment or products must comply with the essential requirements detailed in the European Directives that apply to them, being assessed according to the relevant conformity procedures, and must bear the CE conformity marking. The manufacturer (importer or agent in the EU) assumes sole and absolute responsibility for the conformity of its product with the Directives that apply to it.
For Electromagnetic Compatibility testing , Directive 2014/30/EU applies, whereby the manufacturer assumes responsibility for its equipment, electrical and/or electronic product.
