Presentation and objectives:

SMEs have a crucial role to play in achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy. While they are considered a key driver of growth and job creation, their competitiveness is affected by limited exploitation of internationalization and innovation opportunities in the Single Market and worldwide.
In this context, the COSME program for the competitiveness of SMEs (2014-2020) aims to promote growth and strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of enterprises in the European Union. To this end, the European Commission has created and supports the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest business support network.
Its objectives are to provide support services to companies (especially SMEs), technology centers, universities, etc., in areas such as European legislation, competitiveness improvement, innovation promotion, internationalization, etc.
